About Us
Our Cattery has been raising cats in the USA for 13 years, and Munchkins specifically since 2013. We’re a small, TICA-registered cattery — not a high-volume operation — and we only place a limited number of kittens each year so every one gets the attention it deserves.
Our health-first philosophy
We believe a Munchkin should be a happy, mobile, comfortable cat first and a “look” second. That shapes every decision we make:
- Careful pairings. We breed Munchkins to standard-legged cats to keep the gene pool healthy — we never pair two short-legged cats, because that combination is not viable.
- Screening. Our breeding cats are always vet-checked.
- Weight and joints. We coach every new owner on keeping their Munchkin lean because weight management is one of the biggest levers for long-term joint comfort in this breed.
- Transparency. If a kitten isn’t a good fit for you — or the breed isn’t — we’ll say so.
How we raise our kittens
Our kittens are born and raised in our home, underfoot in the busiest rooms. From the first weeks, they’re handled daily and gently exposed to household sounds, other pets, and visitors, so they grow into confident, affectionate companions rather than skittish cats. Before going home, each kitten is:
- Litter-box trained and eating solid food
- Examined by our veterinarian and up to date on age-appropriate vaccinations
- Sent home with a starter pack.
Our promise to you and the kitten
We stay in touch for the life of your cat, and we will always take one of our kittens back rather than have it end up in a shelter. When you bring home a Munchkin, you’re not just buying a kitten you’re joining a small community of owners we genuinely enjoy hearing from.
